From My Heart to Yours
Websites are so one-sided - while you can hear my heart, I can't hear yours! Many years ago I discovered that I express myself best through the written word. Face-to-face I can hear your story, laugh with you, cry with you, offer a tid-bit or two of advice. But, inevitably, I leave thinking, "I wish I'd told her . . ." or, "Auugghh, how could I have forgotten to say . . ." Never fails.
But a letter - now that's another thing! I can take my time, write and rewrite, delete, add, sleep on my words before they're expressed. Over the years I've garnered a treasure trove of them. I'd like to share some of them with you, but you have to promise me that you will remember this: I am not a professional. I'm simply a fellow sojourner on this trek through life. I've gained a little knowledge - even some wisdom - but until I step into eternity I will be a simple work in progress. Take what is helpful and press it to your heart, set the rest aside.
This is how I envision this working: Click on the site map, scroll down to the section "From My Heart to Yours", and choose a letter on a topic of interest to you. Click and read. The list is limited but will expand with time.
Okay, let's pretend like you've just picked up the mail and in sorting through you find a letter from me. Get comfortable. Grab a cup of tea and a cookie or two. This could take awhile . . .
